Electric bikes are becoming more and more popular, and for a good reason, they're a great way to get around town. But what about the tax break that goes with them? Ebike subsidies may be available in your city or state! Take a look at the ebike incentive programs below to see if they can help you get started.
Colorado Electric Bike Rebate Policy
Denver
The City of Denver offers a $500 rebate to anyone who purchases an electric bicycle. This is on top of federal tax credits, which can total up to 35 percent of your purchase price. So if you buy an e-bike anyway, you may as well take advantage of these incentives. People who ride their e-bikes are often healthier, happier, and more productive at work. One study found that commuting via bike leads to better cognitive function than commuting by car or public transportation. Denver is launching an electric bike rebate program to encourage more people to replace car trips with bike rides.
